The space

The cottage was just updated. Three bedrooms, with two queens and a twin with trundle to king. There is a work space with desk, a rainy day room with board games, books and treadmill. Smart TV and free WIFI. Fully stocked kitchen with eating area. Full sized laundry for your use, soap provided. One full sized bathroom with tub/shower and the master has a shower. The screened in patio is great for family gatherings. A gas grill is also available for your use.

This is your home while you are here. You are able to use and have access to all areas, no shared spaces.

Additional notes

We also have a 3 bedroom two bath home next door available for rent. Lakeview Getaway 1. It is similar in size and features, the differences are it has a fully fenced back yard. No three season room, but patio area. If you need both for your family gathering please reach out through messages and we can confirm availability.

Neighborhood overview

Lakeview Getaway 2 is in Canton District 3 on Lake Barkley. Large lot in a quiet neighborhood. Nearby Community boat ramp available. 1 mile to Hwy 68 for easy drive to almost any Land Between the Lakes attraction.

Getting around

The private driveway can accommodate several vehicles, street parking also available. The community boat ramp is less than two blocks from the house. Access to a paved trail that covers many scenic miles in the Land Between The Lakes recreation area. Cadiz is a 20 minute drive. It is filled with charming small town shops and frequent Amish markets. Spattered along Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake is unique marinas with various activities, shoreline restaurants, boat slips and boat rentals, there is so much to do!

House Rules

PETS; This is an important perk to offer as we travel with our pet and know it is difficult. Being a pet friendly home comes with extra work and risk. Please let us know if you plan to bring a pet, details about them, so our cleaning crew can properly prepare for guests following your stay. Please clean up after your pet. Please keep them off the furniture. Let us know if you need anything special for them to be comfortable. Like toys, beds, bowls, crates, litter boxes. ext.......
Please be honest about your furry companions. We take extra cleaning measures to ensure our next guests will be comfortable; By vacuuming, steam cleaning, washing all bedding, blankest and rugs.
It if simply more time and work so we need our guests with fur babies to be more courteous.
No smoking inside, but you are welcome to enjoy a cigarette in the porch or patio area. No large parties, small gathering are ok....Please ask for permission before having extra people over.
